MAMI President Part of Manitoba Trade Mission to Washington

Washington, D.C – Stacy Kennedy and former Manitoba Premier Gary Doer

Stacy Kennedy, MAMI President and the head of Vale MB Operations joined Team Manitoba in a recent trade mission to Washington. She was part of a group of business, labour and industry leaders, including Premier Wab Kinew, Economic Development Minister Jamie Moses and former Manitoba Premier and Canadian Ambassador to the United States Gary Doer.

Kennedy said, “The trip far exceeded my expectations and this diverse group represented Manitoba well.  We not only established stronger relationships with our neighbour to the south, but we also illustrated how valuable Manitoba is to their economy.”

Kennedy added, “In addition to that, we connected as a group and are now stronger for it, which will help us to advance our province on the international stage.”
