An abundance of lithium in Manitoba could provide an increased need for jobs in the mining sector in the coming years.

“It’s not to say the industry is booming yet, but it’s in a far healthier state than the doldrums it’s been in for the past several years.” Cash writes.

Additionally, he estimated that there will be more than $150 million invested in mineral exploration in the province in the next year, which is close to three times the average of the past few years.
